Troy Polamalu

While working as Production Manager at LUXE Creative in Pittsburgh PA, Troy Polamalu’s wife came to us with $300k to produce a private retirement banquet and after party to celebrate Troy’s retirement as captain of the Pittsburgh Steelers. We transformed an empty parking lot into a luxury dining hall with a clear top tent for a view of the Pittsburgh skyline. We served an 8 course meal on custom created place settings. The after party was at the nearby studio of retired Steeler and artist, Baron Batch. We replicated one of his pieces in florals as the backdrop for the DJ.

As Production Manager, this was an event I really cut my teeth on. We were a tiny agency of 4 people. I wore so many hats and organized endless details, I was very proud when this event came together seamlessly. It was while managing this event that Baron Batch approached me to manage his gallery, and while managing his gallery that retired Steeler, Rashard Mendenhall, asked me to manage his production company and relocate to LA.
